Salesforge does not send everything at once. It spreads each sender’s daily limit across your schedule window and shares the work across your senders, so your sending looks steady and not like a burst. This article explains how that works for emails and for LinkedIn.
To learn how to build the steps and delays between stages of a sequence, read Sequence building. This article is about what happens inside a single day, within a single mailbox or LinkedIn account.

Every mailbox has its own daily sending limit. To change it, read How to change sending limits in Salesforge.
Salesforge does not send a mailbox’s full daily limit in one go. It checks every 10 minutes and releases emails so that the number sent matches how much of your schedule window has passed.
Example: A mailbox has a daily limit of 30, and your sequence schedule is 8:00 to 18:00 (10 hours). That is about 3 emails per hour, or roughly one email every 20 minutes. If enough contacts are waiting, the mailbox reaches 30 emails by 18:00.
Things to know:
Email timing is not random. Emails are released in proportion to the time that has passed in your window, with no random delay added.
Emails due at the same time are sent a little apart. Sometimes a mailbox has several emails ready to go at once, for example when a sequence starts late in the day and needs to catch up. Salesforge does not send them all at the same moment. It sends them one after another, with short and slightly longer gaps. For example, if four emails are ready at once, the first goes out right away, the second after about 30 seconds, the third after about 1 minute, and the fourth after about 2 minutes. It does not guarantee a fixed minimum gap between emails sent in different batches.
Sending only happens in your schedule. Emails go out only inside the days, hours and timezone you set in your sequence settings. Read Salesforge sequence settings explained.
Unused limit is not carried over. The daily limit resets every day at midnight UTC, and the schedule window follows your sequence timezone. If a mailbox does not use its full limit by the end of the window, the unused part is lost and is not added to tomorrow.
Follow-ups and new contacts. When a sequence has both, the sending priority decides which go first. Read Sending priority: new contacts vs follow-ups.
These details describe how sending works today. They may change as we improve the product.
When a sequence has several senders, Salesforge picks the mailbox first, and the sender profile follows from the mailbox:
For a new contact, Salesforge chooses a mailbox from all mailboxes in the sequence, across all of your sender profiles together.
The choice is shared in proportion to each mailbox’s remaining daily capacity. This is not a strict one-after-another rotation. A mailbox with more capacity left sends more than one with less.
If ESP matching is turned on, mailboxes on the same email provider as the contact (Gmail or Outlook) are preferred first.
The contact then goes out from the sender profile that the chosen mailbox belongs to.
Each mailbox keeps its own daily limit and pacing, whatever its sender profile. Adding more mailboxes raises the total number of emails you can send per day. It does not make any single mailbox send faster. For more on sender profiles, read Sender profiles in Salesforge.
A contact stays with the same mailbox and sender profile that sent their first email, for the rest of the sequence. This keeps the conversation with one sender.
A contact who has not yet received any email, connection request or message can be moved to another sender in these cases:
The sender or mailbox is deleted, or disconnected for longer than the grace period.
The sender is removed from the sequence.
New senders or mailboxes are added, and Salesforge rebalances the contacts that have not been contacted yet.
Contacts who have already received a step are never moved.
Each LinkedIn account can do 6 types of actions: profile views, connection requests, messages, InMails, follows and post likes. Each type has its own daily limit, set to 30 per day by default when you connect the account. Withdrawing a connection request has no limit. You can change the limits. Read How to change sending limits in Salesforge.
You can see today’s actions for each sender in Senders & Mailboxes on the Senders tab.
Salesforge leaves short gaps between consecutive actions from the same LinkedIn account, starting at about 30 seconds, and adds a small random variation so the actions do not happen on a fixed rhythm.
Unlike emails, LinkedIn actions include this random timing.
Actions run only inside your sequence’s schedule days, hours and timezone, the same as emails.
One sender profile has one LinkedIn account, and the same LinkedIn account cannot be used in more than one sender profile. When a sequence has several LinkedIn senders, Salesforge shares the actions across them in proportion to each account’s remaining daily capacity, so an account with more capacity left gets more.
In practice, each account’s daily limit for each action type is what controls how many actions it performs in a day.
Email and LinkedIn have their own limits and pacing, so one does not use up the other’s capacity.
In a multichannel sequence, each step waits for the step before it to finish. For example, if step 1 is a LinkedIn action and step 2 is an email:
If the LinkedIn action cannot run, because the account is disconnected or its daily limit is reached, the step stays scheduled and waits. It runs when the account is reconnected or the limit resets.
The contact does not skip ahead to the email step while waiting.
If the LinkedIn account is removed completely, the step fails for that contact and the contact stops.
