When you delete a mailbox, it is scheduled for deletion rather than being removed immediately.
After requesting deletion:
The mailbox will show a "Scheduled for deletion" status.
You can hover over this status to see the exact date when the mailbox is scheduled to be deleted.
Until that date, the mailbox remains in its scheduled-for-deletion state.
Once the deletion takes effect, the mailbox is removed and its mailbox slot is freed up.
If you have 10 mailbox slots and delete one mailbox:
The mailbox is first marked Scheduled for deletion.
The slot is not immediately freed.
On the scheduled deletion date, the mailbox is deleted.
The mailbox slot then becomes available again.
Mailbox slots can also be deleted when you no longer need the capacity.
When you delete mailbox slots, they are not removed immediately.
Instead, the slots are scheduled to be freed up.
This means:
The slots remain active until the scheduled date.
You can check the scheduled deletion/free-up date in the interface.
Once the scheduled action takes effect, those slots are freed from your account.
These are two separate actions:
Deleting a mailbox
→ Mailbox is scheduled for deletion
→ Mailbox is deleted on the scheduled date
→ Its slot is then freed up
Deleting mailbox slots
→ Slots are scheduled to be freed up
→ Slots remain active until the scheduled date
→ Slots are then freed from your account
Primeforge uses a scheduled deletion process, so deleting a mailbox or mailbox slot does not instantly remove it.
This allows the deletion to take effect according to the scheduled date rather than immediately.
If a mailbox shows "Scheduled for deletion", simply hover over the status to see the date when the deletion is scheduled to take place.
This lets you know exactly when the mailbox will be removed and its slot will become available.
Deleting a mailbox does not free the slot immediately.
The mailbox first becomes Scheduled for deletion.
The slot is freed once the mailbox deletion takes effect.
Deleting mailbox slots does not immediately remove the slots.
Deleted slots are instead scheduled to be freed up.
You can check the scheduled deletion date by hovering over the relevant status.
Mailbox deletion: scheduled → mailbox deleted → slot freed.
Slot deletion: scheduled → slot freed.
This means that if you have just deleted a mailbox or mailbox slots, it's expected that they may continue to appear in your account until the scheduled deletion/free-up date.
