DNS records management in Mailforge, Infraforge and Primeforge

Learn where to find and edit DNS records for your domains in Mailforge, Infraforge and Primeforge, how to update many domains at once, and what to check before you save.

You can view and edit the DNS records of your domains yourself in Mailforge, Infraforge and Primeforge. No support request is needed.

⚠ Important: edit DNS records with care. MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records control whether your mailboxes can send and receive email. A wrong or deleted record can stop email delivery, send your emails to spam, or break your tracking domain. Only change a record if you know what it does, and note down the original value before you edit it. Bulk DNS update applies your changes to every domain you select, so double check your selection and the values before you save.

Bulk DNS update

Bulk DNS update lets you update the DNS records of several domains at once. It is available in Mailforge, Infraforge and Primeforge.

  1. Go to the Domains page.

  2. Click Bulk DNS update above the domains table.

![Bulk DNS update button]

  1. Select the domains you want to update.

  2. Fill in the details for each record you want to change. Each record has its own field.

  3. Review your selection and values, then confirm the update.

![Bulk DNS update screen]

Here, you can select the domains you want to make the update for.

Each record has its own bracket for introduction of details, however for DMARC policy modifier we can select None, Quarantine or Reject.

DMARC Email Modifier: Part of email authentication, DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) helps prevent unauthorized use of your domain (spoofing).

Domain Forward: A setup that automatically redirects anyone visiting one domain to another. This is useful when you own multiple domains but want all traffic to point to a primary domain.

CNAME Record: A DNS record that creates an alias for a domain name. Instead of pointing directly to an IP address, it redirects queries to another domain name, allowing you to manage resources under one consistent name.
