# Buy One-Time Credit Top-Ups in Leadsforge

Buy Leadsforge credits once, with or without a subscription. Learn how top-ups work, how they differ from a plan, and where to buy them.

You can buy Leadsforge credits as a one-time top-up, with no subscription needed. Top up when you need more leads, spend the credits at your own pace, and only subscribe if and when it makes sense for you.

## Top-up or subscription: what is the difference?

-   **Subscription.** You are charged every month or every year, and credits are added to your balance each time. Unused credits keep accumulating and never expire.
    
-   **One-time top-up.** You pay once and the credits are added to your balance right away. Nothing renews and no subscription is created. The credits never expire.
    

A top-up works whether or not you have a subscription:

-   **No subscription.** Free accounts can buy a pack without starting a subscription. Buying a pack on a free account also unlocks API & MCP access.
    
-   **With a subscription.** If you run low before your next renewal, or want extra credits on top of what you have already accumulated, buy a pack at any time. The credits stack on top of your plan and your existing balance.
    

## How to buy a top-up

There are two places to do it.

**From the credits indicator in the header**

1.  Click the credits indicator in the top right corner of Leadsforge. It shows your current balance.
    
2.  Click **Get credits**.
    
3.  On the **Top up once** tab, choose a pack.
    
4.  Click the **Top up** button and complete the payment at checkout.

**From Settings**

1.  Go to **Settings** > **Usage**.
    
2.  Under **Top up credits once**, pick a pack from the dropdown.
    
3.  Click **Top up credits** and complete the payment.

Credits are added to your balance right away after the payment.

## Available packs

Packs start at 2,000 credits for $59 and go up to large volume packs. The more credits you buy at once, the lower the price per credit. Prices are in USD and may change, so check the list in the app for the current offer.

## If you need credits regularly: upgrade your plan

If you use Leadsforge every month, a subscription may suit you better. In the same **Get more credits** window, switch to the **Upgrade plan** tab. You can also start a plan from **Settings** > **Usage**.

-   **Monthly:** the base Essential plan adds 2,000 credits every month for $49 per month.
    
-   **Yearly:** the base Essential plan adds 28,000 credits per year, billed yearly, with 2 months free.
    
-   **Larger plans:** use the slider to choose a higher tier. The window shows the price per credit and what you pay now before you confirm.
    
-   **Credits accumulate.** Plan credits never expire, so unused credits carry over to the next period.

Both options show the price per credit, so you can compare them before you buy. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, while a top-up never renews. ## Low and empty credit warnings

The credits indicator in the header changes color to warn you: it turns orange when your balance is running low and red when you are out of credits. Click it to top up in one step.

## Frequently asked questions

**Do top-up credits expire?**

No. Credits from a one-time top-up never expire, so you can spend them at your own pace.

**Does a top-up start a subscription?**

No. It is a single payment. Nothing renews and no subscription is created.

**I already have a plan. Can I still buy a top-up?**

Yes. The credits are added to your current balance, on top of your plan credits and anything you have already accumulated.

**Can I use the API without a subscription?**

Yes. Buying a pack on a free account unlocks API & MCP access, and the API uses the same credits as the app. See the [Leadsforge Public API article](https://help.salesforge.ai/en/articles/10333579-leadsforge-public-api.md) for details.

**Where do I check my balance?**

Your balance is shown in the credits indicator in the header and under Settings > Usage.
