Filters on the Contacts page

How to use filters on the Contacts page in Salesforge

How to use filters on the Contacts page in Salesforge

The Contacts page in Salesforge includes filters that help you segment, manage, and analyze your contacts more easily.

You can use these filters to find specific contacts, review contacts by company, manage contacts by tags, check campaign activity, exclude contacts from specific sequences, and analyze replied contacts by Primebox Labels.

Filters are useful when you want to clean up your contact database, prepare contacts for a new sequence, avoid duplicate outreach, or review campaign performance.

Where to find contact filters

To use filters on the Contacts page:

  1. Open Salesforge.

  2. Go to Contacts.

  3. Click Filters.

  4. Select the filter you want to apply.

  5. Choose the relevant values.

  6. Review the filtered contact list.

You can use one filter or combine multiple filters to narrow down your results.

Available filters on the Contacts page

Search

Use the search option to find contacts by available contact details.

This is useful when you are looking for a specific contact, email address, person, or company.

Use Search when you want to:

  • Find a specific contact quickly

  • Search by email address

  • Look up a person by name

  • Find contacts connected to a company

Tags

Use the Tags filter to organize and filter contacts based on tags added during import or contact management.

Tags are especially useful when you upload different batches of contacts and want to keep them separated.

Use the Tags filter when you want to:

  • Find contacts from a specific uploaded list

  • Segment contacts by source

  • Add tagged contacts to a sequence

  • Organize large contact databases

  • Keep different contact groups separate

Company

Use the Company filter to find contacts based on the company they belong to.

This filter includes search support, making it easier to find a specific company when you have many contacts in your workspace.

Use the Company filter when you want to:

  • View all contacts from a specific company

  • Review account-level contacts

  • Analyze company-level outreach

  • Find contacts connected to one organization

  • Prepare account-based outreach

Sequence

Use the Sequence filter to find contacts that belong to one or multiple sequences.

You can select:

  • One sequence

  • Multiple sequences

Use the Sequence filter when you want to:

  • View contacts added to a specific sequence

  • Review campaign contacts

  • Analyze contacts across multiple sequences

  • Manage contacts by campaign

  • Check which contacts are already being used in outreach

Exclude by Sequence

Use the Exclude by Sequence filter to remove contacts from your view if they already belong to selected sequences.

This is useful when you want to build a new contact segment without including contacts who are already part of another campaign.

Use Exclude by Sequence when you want to:

  • Avoid targeting contacts already used in another sequence

  • Prevent overlap between campaigns

  • Build cleaner contact lists

  • Avoid duplicate outreach

  • Find contacts that are not part of selected sequences

For example, if you are preparing a new sequence, you can exclude contacts who are already enrolled in your active campaigns.

Sequence Status

Use the Sequence Status filter to find contacts based on their status inside a selected sequence.

This filter is available only when a single sequence is selected.

Once you select one sequence, you can filter contacts by their sequence status.

Use Sequence Status when you want to:

  • Review contacts who are active in a sequence

  • Find contacts who replied

  • Check contacts who finished a sequence

  • Review paused or stopped contacts

  • Analyze campaign progress

  • Manage contacts by their current sequence stage

Because sequence status depends on a specific sequence, this filter appears only after one sequence is selected.

Primebox Labels

Use the Primebox Labels filter to refine contacts based on labels applied to replied contacts.

This filter is available only when:

  • A single sequence is selected

  • Sequence Status is set to Replied

Once these conditions are met, you can use Primebox Labels to further filter replied contacts.

Use Primebox Labels when you want to:

  • Review positive replies

  • Find interested contacts

  • Check out-of-office replies

  • Review negative replies

  • Identify wrong-contact replies

  • Analyze replied contacts by label

  • Manage follow-up actions based on reply type

For example, you can select a sequence, set Sequence Status to Replied, and then filter by a Primebox Label such as Positive, Interested, or Meeting Booked.

Last Contacted

Use the Last Contacted filter to find contacts based on when they were last contacted.

This helps you review recent outreach activity or identify contacts who have not been contacted for a certain period.

The Last Contacted filter supports Multichannel Sequences.

Use Last Contacted when you want to:

  • Find recently contacted leads

  • Review contacts who have not been contacted recently

  • Manage follow-up timing

  • Re-engage older contacts

  • Analyze outreach activity

  • Avoid contacting people too frequently

Exclude Contacted

Use the Exclude Contacted filter to remove contacts who have already been contacted.

This is useful when preparing fresh contact segments for a new campaign.

The Exclude Contacted filter supports Multichannel Sequences.

Use Exclude Contacted when you want to:

  • Find contacts who have not been contacted yet

  • Avoid reaching out to the same contacts again

  • Build fresh outreach lists

  • Prevent duplicate outreach

  • Keep campaigns cleaner

Conditional filters

Some filters only appear after another filter is selected.

Sequence Status

The Sequence Status filter is available only when one sequence is selected.

If multiple sequences are selected, Sequence Status will not be available because contact status needs to be checked against one specific sequence.

Primebox Labels

The Primebox Labels filter is available only when:

  • One sequence is selected

  • Sequence Status is set to Replied

This allows you to filter replied contacts by the labels applied in Primebox.

How filters work together

You can combine filters to create more specific contact views.

For example:

Find contacts from one company

Use:

  • Company

This shows contacts connected to a specific company.

Find contacts from a specific campaign

Use:

  • Sequence

This shows contacts that belong to the selected sequence.

Find contacts not already used in another campaign

Use:

  • Exclude by Sequence

This removes contacts who are already part of selected sequences.

Find replied contacts from one sequence

Use:

  • Sequence

  • Sequence Status = Replied

This shows contacts who replied in that selected sequence.

Find positive replies from one sequence

Use:

  • Sequence

  • Sequence Status = Replied

  • Primebox Labels

This lets you review replied contacts by their Primebox Label.

Find contacts who have not been contacted recently

Use:

  • Last Contacted

This helps you identify contacts who may be ready for re-engagement.

Build a fresh outreach list

Use:

  • Exclude Contacted

  • Exclude by Sequence

  • Tags, if needed

This helps you avoid contacts who have already been reached out to or added to another sequence.

Best practices

To get the best results from Contacts filters:

  • Use Search when looking for a specific person, email, or company.

  • Use Tags to organize imported lists and contact segments.

  • Use Company when managing account-level contacts.

  • Use Sequence to review contacts by campaign.

  • Use Exclude by Sequence before launching new campaigns to avoid overlap.

  • Select one sequence when you need to filter by Sequence Status.

  • Use Primebox Labels to review replied contacts by reply type.

  • Use Last Contacted to manage follow-up timing.

  • Use Exclude Contacted when building fresh outreach lists.

  • Combine filters when you need a more specific segment.
