How to create filters in Gmail for Warmforge warmup emails

Description

Step 1: Understand the Warmup Codes

Warmup codes are unique identifiers included in warmup email content. They might appear:

  • In the Body (e.g., Salena-simple )

You can get your warmup codes for all mailboxes by going to Mailboxes in Warmforge and clicking Warmup codes on top right.

Step 2: Create Filters Using the Warmup Codes

1. Access Gmail Settings

  1. Open Gmail.

  2. Click the gear icon (βš™) and select "See all settings".

  3. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.

  4. Click "Create a new filter."

2. Input Filter Criteria

Our warmup codes are in the body of warmup emails. Use the warmup codes to create targeted filters:

  • For Codes in the Subject Line:

    • Enter the code prefix or pattern in the Body field which you got from Warmforge.

3. Apply the Filter

After specifying the criteria, choose actions such as:

  • Apply a Label: Create a label like "Salesforge Warmup."

  • Mark as Read: Prevent clutter in your inbox.

  • Skip Inbox (Archive it): Archive warmup emails directly.

  • Delete: Only if you're confident you don’t need to monitor them.

Step 3: Automate for Future Emails

  1. Check the box for "Also apply filter to matching conversations" to apply the filter retroactively.

  2. Save the filter.
